MOURINHO COMPLAINS OF TIGHT FIXTURES

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has complained of tight fixtures again.


He has criticised the schedule of the club in recent weeks as they juggle between the various competitions they are involved in.

The Red Devils are set to play Ajax in next week’s Europa League final. Mourinho says he is frustrated that the team did not get more time to prepare. The Portuguese preferred that the last games of the season – which are played at the same time – should have been moved to Saturday instead of the Sunday afternoon it is scheduled.

PALACE NOT SURE OF SAKHO

Premier League side Crystal Palace are not sure they would eventually give former Liverpool star MamadouSakhoa deal, according to reports in England.


The manager Sam Allardyce admitted this despite the player’s run since leaving Anfield.

The 27-year-old has been decent since he started featuring for the Glaziers. Big Sam admits this but opines that getting a permanent deal is still difficult. However, he hailed the player’s contributions to the team.

“It would be a big negotiation at the end of the season if we were to stay in the Premier League.At this moment in time Mama has chosen crystal Palace to play first-team football, I think he has settled into the environment exceptionally well,” Allardyce said.

SAM ALLARDYCE PALACE TASTE DEFEAT

Tuesday’s night encounter between Crystal Palace and Swansea produced some of the most unforgettable moments in the premier league, with Swansea ending their recent poor run of form with a much-deserved victory.


Swansea, who are currently in the relegation zone, edged out Crystal Palace all thanks to an Angel Rangel’s late minute goal.

For Sam Allardyce, changing the fortunes of crystal palace will not come as easy as he expected. If anything was evident on Tuesday night, it was the fact it would take this his new side time to understand the dogged kind of football Allardyce believes will keep Crystal Palace above relegation.

CRYSTAL PALACE WANT CHELSEA’S IVANOVIC

English Premier League side Crystal Palace want Chelsea’s veteran defender Branislav Ivanovic as the player remains out of favour at Stamford Bridge.


Antonio Conte’s new formation has forced out the Serb as the manager prefers three quick players at the back. According to reports, Crystal Palace are willing to play the veteran as the 32-year old right back might get axed from Chelsea.

With the current set-up, Chelsea have enjoyed four wins in four games. They have kept a clean sheet and scored eleven goals, even against top teams. Ivanovic last played for the blues in the 3-0 loss to Arsenal on September 24. With just three players at the back, Victor Moses has taken his spot. Moses has been impressive in the role, forcing speculation that Ivanovic might exit the club at the end of the season before his career finally winds down completely.

Crystal Palace To Be Up Against Manchester United

For those who wonder how Crystal Palace will fare in the game against Manchester United, some are of the opinion that they have the potential to beat Manchester United and lift the FA cup.

CRYSTAL PALACE MANAGER ADMISTS THEY LOST FOCUS

English Premier League side, Crystal; Palace manager, Alan Pardew says his team’s focus was blurred in the crucial Premier League match against Manchester United. The Reds Devils had a two goal romp over the side to put pressure on others in the top four spot.

Alan Pardew said his team were motivated by the chance at a silverware when they take on Watford led by Odion Ighodalo, in the FA cup tie.

An early own goal Damien Delaney  put the team in misery at first, then the effort of Matteo Darmian ensure the hosts close the gap with the top four in the Wednesday encounter.

Alan Pardew said his team were already thinking of the pressure at Wembley without dealing with the task at hand and it affected their focus during the game.

“It’s not the start anyone wants at Old Trafford – to concede after four minutes knocked us a little bit but our focus is slightly blurred as we have the semi-final on Sunday,” Pardew admitted.

“It’s a big game for Manchester united [on Saturday] but it’s much bigger for us as we could win a trophy. My players worked hard and some players got some game-time. The one-bit of key news to come out of tonight is that we’re fit and well for Sunday,” the coach said.
