£1m for that carthorse?
Bloody claridge broke my heart !
15 years ago today. I was 7 at the time and remember watching it with my dad. He went absolutely berserk when Claridge put it in 🙂
Those were the feckin days. That Leicester team with the likes of Izzet, Lennon and Parker would have pissed that league had they been together at the start of the season. Amazing moment but nothing beats the time Walshie scored the winner against Derby in the play off final a few years before for complete euphoria for me.

Never forget this, I was there couldn’t believe it at the time…top class shinner, only Rooney’s shinned overhead kick comes close!

as a life long Palace fan I returned the following year to see us do that to Sheff United in the last min, amazing to do it at Wmbley the very next year.

Steves my uncle no jokes
Words cannot describe…
brings a tear to my eye every single time. and it still seems to go in slow motion.
Spectacular day to remember. I even remember the absolute silence after the ball hit the back of the net. It felt like an eternity and then, then the realisation that the ball went in and the eruption of noise from the Leicester masses is something I’ll take to my grave. Amazing!
love it 😉 super steve
That the moment, I knew I was LCFC Supporter.
Still, still, still, bring a shiver down my spine.
Best. Goal. Ever.
