According to The Athletic, Crystal Palace are interested in a January deal for Eintracht Frankfurt maestro and Nottingham Forest target Djibril Sow. The Switzerland international was the subject of a bid from Nottingham Forest over the summer, with Blick even claiming that the Premier League newcomers offered him a contract worth £100,000-a-week. Sow eventually stayed in Frankfurt as he wanted to play Champions League football with the Europa League winners, and he is now starring in the competition.
On Wednesday night, the 25-year-old shone for Eintracht Frankfurt as the Bundesliga side held Tottenham to a 0-0 draw in matchday three of the Champions League. Sow earned himself the WhoScored Man of the Match award following a superb display, in which he was an effective presence both defensively as well as going forward. Having previously attracted interest from Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, now it appears as though the Eagles are also eyeing Ramos ahead of a potential swoop.
